Medicare rules for eligible Telehealth consultations are regularly changing. At present current rules are:
- You must have seen one of our Drs face to face in the last 12 months
- You must be a current Medicare card holder
Telehealth is not appropriate for all consultations and can be appropriate for
- Repeat regular scripts
- Patients experiencing COVID19/flu symptoms
Your doctor will call you when ready for the consultation. The call may be a little earlier or later then your appointment time. If a script is required an ePrescribing/ Electronic Paperless script can be issued or you can drop in and pick up a paper copy.
