Dr Roderick Bond MB BS BSci(Med).
FRACGP
Dr Bond is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. His undergraduate qualification was obtained through the University of NSW. He holds specialist registration with AHPRA. Dr Bond has extensive experience in rural and remote healthcare. He currently holds Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) rights at both Lockhart and Culcairn Hospitals so he can continue the care of his patients beyond the medical practice.
In addition to working at both Lockhart and Culcairn he also contracts to provide occupational medical services in the Kimberley in Western Australia. He holds qualifications in Aviation Medicine and has extensive experience in Indigenous health. He enjoys chronic disease management and child health. Dr Bond grew up in rural NSW and spent a large portion of his working career working in rural and remote locations throughout Australia.
He is committed to rural and remote healthcare and understands the barriers that exist for patients living in these areas. He works hard to bridge these gaps. Dr Bond is an accredited supervisor for GP registrars with both GP Synergy and RVTS.
