Home visits are available for regular patients where their medical condition significantly prevents them from attending the surgery.
FEES
Lockhart and Culcairn Medical Practices are mixed billing practices. The doctors’ fees are payable at the time of consultation by EFTPOS. When paying by EFTPOS we are able to pay your Medicare rebate immediately back into your bank account at the time of you paying your fees. If paying by phone your Medicare rebate can be claimed through your online myGov account.
Patients who miss their appointments on two consecutive occasions are charged a missed appointment fee of $40.00 (GST inclusive) regardless of their pension status which is not claimable through Medicare. Patients are required to make payment before booking future appointments.
Pensioners, Health Care Card holders and Children under 16 years are Bulk Billed
